Heather Byers, of Wichita, KS, will be the Artist-in-Residence at the Red Barn Studio Museum, Tuesday, July 19 through Sat, July 23. Byers will have a reception at the Red Barn, Friday, July 22, 6-8PM. During her residence, Heather says she will experiment more with small mixed media pieces. “I am blending portraiture with floral designs using both acrylic paints and fabric.” The image is titled, “Blink.” Heather Byers is a self-employed Wichita based muralist.
