The Red Barn Studio museum is welcoming back Laura Baker, the pie-maker (and artist), from Saturday, July 7^th until Sunday, July 15^th.  While at the Red Barn Studio, Laura Baker plans to devote her time painting and illustrating pies, whole and slices, from photographs of her own baked creations.  “My residency project is to work on the publication of Volume 1 of the ‘Art of Pie’ cookbook. For a busy, working (architect) mom of 3, the Red Barn Studio, surrounded by Lester Raymer’s amazing art is a welcome oasis.”

And not only are we welcoming Laura, but she has inspired our Makers Street theme for July – PIE!

The community is invited to join Makers Street’s 2^nd Annual Pie-luck and NEW Pie Contest (judged in part by Laura Baker) by bringing their own handmade creations.

♦ Guests can bring a pie to receive two free slices and two free scoops of ice cream.
♦ Those not planning on baking may purchase one slice for $5 and a scoop of ice cream for $2.
(All proceeds will go to Lindsborg’s Makers Street Artwalk.)
