Clients from Disability Supports of the Great Plains, who work as studio artists in the Clayworks Studios of One Door North in McPherson, Kansas, will participate as Artists-in-Residence at the Red Barn Studio Museum in Lindsborg, Kansas, August 1 through August 4. During this residency, the artists will be exploring possibilities and expanding boundaries through landscape drawing and painting. The public is invited to view the artists at work from 1-3:30PM daily. Artwork will also be on display that has been completed at The Clayworks’ Studios. The Clayworks Studios offer an opportunity for creativity and artistic expression as well
as a chance to earn an income that often exceeds what may be otherwise available. Disability Supports artists will be able to undertake the purpose of the Raymer Society Artist-in-Residence program to perpetuate the memory of Lester Raymer thereby offering yet another opportunity for visual artists to pursue their particular art form at the Red Barn Studio Museum.
