Virginia "Fredrick" Large, oil on canvas, untitled
This original oil on canvas board by artist Virginia-Frederick Large features the image of a cabin and trees and is dated 1959. The image size is 12" x 14", is in good condition, and is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. Winning bids are packaged and shipped by UPS. Shipping estimates are available upon request. Virginia-Frederick Large (1914-1982) was born in Portland, Oregon and lived in Illinois and Wyoming in her adult life. There she painted sweeping Western landscapes and signed them under the name Frederick to avoid prejudices against female artists at the time. She died in Rawlins, Wyoming.
