Malm, Alba (1897-1986) set of 2 watercolors, untitled spring river, image size: 4.5 x 6 inches, untitled spring trees, image size: 4.5 x 6 inches, signed Alba Malm in lower right, good condition. Alba Malm (1897-1986) was born Lindsborg, Kansas, 1897 and died in Lindsborg, 1986. Alba Almquist was a painter and craftswoman. She received a B.A. degree from Bethany College, Lindsborg where she was a pupil of Birger Sandzen and her father, Gustav Malm Almquist.She did graduate work at the University of Kansas, Lawrence on a science scholarship and taught for many years in schools in and around Lindsborg.
