Malm, Alba (1897-1986) untitled pines/snow/creek, watercolor, signed Alba Malm in lower right, good condition, image size: 5.5 x 7 inches. Alba Malm (1897-1986) was born Lindsborg, Kansas, 1897 and died in Lindsborg, 1986. Alba Almquist was a painter and craftswoman. She received a B.A. degree from Bethany College, Lindsborg where she was a pupil of Birger Sandzen and her father, Gustav Malm Almquist.She did graduate work at the University of Kansas, Lawrence on a science scholarship and taught for many years in schools in and around Lindsborg.
