Malm, Alba (1897-1986) set of 2 watercolors, untitled stream/trees/sunset, image size: 8 x 10.5 inches and untitled spring landscape, image size: 8.25 x 10.5 inches, good condition, signed in lower right. Alba Malm (1897-1986) was born Lindsborg, Kansas, 1897 and died in Lindsborg, 1986. Alba Almquist was a painter and craftswoman. She received a B.A. degree from Bethany College, Lindsborg where she was a pupil of Birger Sandzen and her father, Gustav Malm Almquist.She did graduate work at the University of Kansas, Lawrence on a science scholarship and taught for many years in schools in and around Lindsborg.
