Malm, Alba (1897-1986) untitled pine trees, watercolor, signed Alba Malm in lower right, fair condition, glued to chip board, image size: 4.75 x 6.75. Alba Malm (1897-1986) was born Lindsborg, Kansas, 1897 and died in Lindsborg, 1986. Alba Almquist was a painter and craftswoman. She received a B.A. degree from Bethany College, Lindsborg where she was a pupil of Birger Sandzen and her father, Gustav Malm Almquist.She did graduate work at the University of Kansas, Lawrence on a science scholarship and taught for many years in schools in and around Lindsborg.
