Ann Gethen, 1980 "Kansas Elevator" oil on canvas, signed in lower right, size: 10 x 19.75 inches. Gethen was born in England and came to the US in 1967. After living in a number of states, she has located in Wichita, KS. Painting started as a hobby that she turned into a profession. Gethen uses only a knife to get the texture and color onto her canvases.
