A watercolor of a fence line in winter is signed "P Smokorowski" in the lower left, is in good condition, measuring 8.5×21.25. Total dimensions are 18.5×30.25×1.75. Peter Smokorowski is a painter of acrylic, oils, pastels, watercolor and fabric dye on silk. Smokorowski received his BFA degree from the Kansas City Art Institute. He worked for Hallmark Cards for 38 years and while working for Hallmark, he attended demonstrations by Rex Brandt, John Pike and Richard Schmid. He also took a plein aire workshop with Skip Whitcomb at the Fechin Workshop in Taos N.M. Peter Smokorowski is a member of the Watercolor Honor Society, Springfield Museum, Springfield, MO. He has exhibited in AWS, NYC, NY; Springfield Museum, Springfield, MO; Dunnegan Gallery of Art, Bolivar, MO; Spanish Pavilion, St Louis, MO; and Gallery de Arc Angel, Brussels, Belgium. He has won numerous awards.
